Peškun (the stool) is a traditional piece of furniture usually made of walnut wood. Word is taken from Persian language. It is indispensable part of traditional Ottoman furniture. It can have six, eight or nine angles and usually is decorated with carvings, which can be simple geometric shapes or very complex arabesques. Peškun (the stool) can be used as a small table and a chair,but today, as most of other traditional Bosnian items, is mainly used as decoration."
