She has been teaching there at Bachelor&#8217;s, Masters and PhD study programs. From 2005-2010, she was engaged as well at the Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, where she established computer graphics courses and the Digital Media Center laboratory.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the University of Sarajevo, she founded in 2004 the Laboratory for Computer Graphics &#8211; Sarajevo Graphics Group. It is a research group that specializes in the use of 3D technologies for the presentation of cultural heritage. The SGG research group is multidisciplinary; it includes computer graphics experts and works with archaeologists, historians, visual artists, writers, and film professionals in order to design and implement virtual cultural heritage applications that have both educational value and are engaging, entertaining, and attractive at the same time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The unique expertise of SGG in interactive digital storytelling embedded in a number of virtual archaeology projects brought them invitations to major EU consortia. The mobile lab provides scientific expertise to archaeological excavations in Cyprus and the region, art museums and heritage collections. A most recent achievement is the inclusion of STARLAB and its related scientific activities into E-RIHS, the European Research Infrastructure on Heritage Science, where CyI fulfill the role of a regional hub for the infrastructure. Sorin is a member of the Steering Committee of E-RIHS PP, the Preparatory Phase of E-RIHS. Within this context, Sorin\u2019s research focuses on developing workflows for art characterization based on the integration of non-invasive and non-destructive chemical \u2013 physical analyses with technical imaging and 3D surface documentation for answering specific art history questions and the consequent development of STARLAB\u2019s relevant instrumentation capacities for research and innovation.Sorin obtained competitive grants from various EU programs, most recent ones being EMAP, ARIADNE, E-RIHS PP and GRAVITATE. Sorin is the author of one book, editor of several books and peer-reviewed conference proceedings and author of more than 60 scientific papers. Since 1998 she has been developing research activity at CNR-ISTC and later at CNR- ITABC-VHLab, mainly in the field of Virtual Museums. She is responsible and scientific director of projects at national and European level that have awarded by international committees. The ambits of research and application are referred to the study, documentation, communication and valorization of tangible and intangible Cultural Heritage (from site to landscape), using the digital interactive technologies, with particular attention to museum and virtual environments. Special interest is oriented to interaction design in VR ecosystems, gesture-based interaction and embodiment, advanced techniques of interactive storytelling,VR multiuser domains. She is the designer of novel solutions in the integration of media, combining traditional VR paradigms with cinematographic and theatrical techniques, virtual set (mixed reality), augmented reality, gaming rules. She has published about one hundred scientific publications of international interest, since 2000 up to now and, in the same period, she has realized about 50 projects in the filed of digital media for cultural heritage with concrete results. He gained extensive experience in system design, quality assurance, digital image processing and synthesis, 3D and virtual reality through a career of 14 years in private industry. He is the author of many articles on computer graphics and cultural heritage topics and has lectured extensively at major computer graphics and cultural heritage conferences. He organized several workshops concerning the use of ICT in cultural heritage and was conference chair of the international conferences VAST2004 (Brussels) and VSMM2005 (Ghent).<br \/>\nDaniel Pletinckx was the chief consultant to the Ename974 project, a major heritage project in the historical village of Ename, Belgium, and founded the international Ename Center for Public Archaeology and Heritage Presentation, together with Dirk Callebaut and Neil Silberman.<br \/>\nDaniel Pletinckx designed several TimeFrame and TimeScope systems in Ename, which received three international awards (Golden Scarab and Flemish Monument Award in 1998, the VGI ICT Award for best innovation in public outreach in cultural heritage in 2004). In 2009, he received the first Tartessos Award for virtual archaeology in Sevilla, Spain. In 2016, his educational game Ename 1290 was awarded by Heritage in Motion as second best European project in the category \u201cgames and interactive experiences\u201d.<br \/>\nHe also designed, coordinated and realized digital heritage systems in several museums and sites in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, the Vatican, Spain, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, and Egypt.<br \/>\nSince 2003, Daniel Pletinckx is director of Visual Dimension bvba, an SME dealing with ICT based innovation in cultural heritage, tourism and education. Visual Dimension specializes in new, efficient ways to digitize and digitally restore museum objects, monuments, and sites, in the virtual reconstruction of historical structures and landscapes, in innovative interaction with 3D (such as GroupVR and tangible interfaces) and in the combination of interactive storytelling with 3D for museums, sites and monuments. Currently, he is also working on innovative 3D and VR solutions for tourism and education.<br \/>\nDaniel Pletinckx is a co-founder of the European 6FP IST EPOCH Network of Excellence, that dealt with optimizing the use of ICT in cultural heritage, and acted from 2004 to 2008 as Coordinator for Integration Activities. His company also coordinated the Dissemination and Exploitation activities of the European Network of Excellence V-MusT.net that focused on virtual and digital museums. Part of this activity was the organization of the major exhibition Keys2Rome, full of innovative digital heritage solutions, that was held in 2014-2015 in Amsterdam, Rome, Sarajevo, and Alexandria simultaneously. His company was also involved in the European CARARE and 3D-ICONS projects to deliver 3D content about World Heritage monuments and sites to Europeana, and in Etruscanning3D within the Creative Europe framework, creating several high-end exhibitions with digital heritage solutions. His work has received many awards in Promax, Cork Film Festival, ICAD, Kinsale Sharks, Bilbao Fun &amp; Serious Games Festival and the Digital Media Awards. With a degree in History and History of Art, Niall\u2019s work at Noho combines his passion for heritage with his technical and creative background in broadcast graphics, commercials and animation.Niall is a founding member of the Virtual Museum Transnational Network (V-MusT), a European network of museum professionals, researchers and content providers. In 2016, Noho began work on two H2020-funded projects, CEMEC (cemec-eu.net) and EMOTIVE (emotiveproject.eu). She has a MA in History of Art and Architecture from University of Limerick and a BA in Art History from University of Gdansk. Both, her MA and BA dissertations focused on Calvinist iconography in Dutch art of the 16th-17th century. Karolina\u2019s doctoral research explored digital methodologies in art history with a focus on the concepts of thematic research collections and virtual research environments. Her case study investigated the application of digital tools and methodologies in research of the 17th century Dutch church interior paintings.In March 2017 Karolina joined <a href=\"https:\/\/noho.ie\/\">Noho<\/a> where her role involves project management, communications, dissemination, graphic design and liaising with EU-funded projects. Her career to date combines strong interests in digital humanities, art history and museums.
