Accordion
One of the many exhibits in the museum in Sarajevo is accordion conducive from the Austro-Hungarian period. This accordion was made in Vienna. It consists of three main parts: the treble buttons, bellows and bass side. Accordion has twenty one key. Clicking on each of these keys and the stretching and contraction of bellows at the same time products the sound.
On the other side of the bellows there is four buttons, or four basses. This accordion has one color tone, since it does not have registers. Accordion is slated exclusively for right-handed, ie. accordionist plays with the right hand buttons, and with his left hand basses. The difference between accordions today is in the belt, because accordions of the Austro-Hungarian period has only one belt and it's scheduled for right shoulder.
Accordion in the museum in Sarajevo is no longer able to produce sound, and can only serve as an exhibit, however, the harmonics and many others from this period are much help in the development of accordions and today we have better accordions, more accordionists and thus better performance.
