Fibul - spiral


The Bronze Age in Bosnia and Herzegovina lasted from approximately 1850/1800 to 800 BCE. A very important step in the development of metallurgy was the discovery of copper alloy with tin.


During this period, people began exploating copper, and to improve methods of smelting and processing copper. Over time, they created different types of objects, for different purposes.


One such item is the fibula in the form of a spiral. He served as a decorative item on the echoes of the then inhabitants of these areas.
It is not known the exact period of origin or the owner of this object.
